Who We Are
Aligned Engineering, LLC provides civil engineering drafting and design support to public agencies and private clients throughout Oregon and Washington. We specialize in roadway design, stormwater management, ADA compliance, construction administration, and FAA Part 107 drone services: the technical backbone of infrastructure projects.
We operate as a responsive subconsultant and direct service provider, scaling to meet project demands without the overhead of large firms. Our clients include state DOTs, county governments, city agencies, and private engineering firms across the Pacific Northwest.
Our approach is straightforward: deliver accurate, code-compliant work on time. No project is too complex, and no detail is overlooked.

Robert Rippee, PE
Owner & Principal Engineer
Robert is a licensed Professional Engineer in both Oregon and Washington with extensive experience in civil engineering design, construction administration, and project management. He has worked on projects ranging from local street improvements to major state highway corridors.
Robert is also FAA Part 107 certified for commercial small unmanned aircraft operations, allowing Aligned Engineering to capture aerial survey data, site imagery, and inspection footage in-house and feed it directly into our Civil 3D design workflow.
His hands-on approach, from initial design through construction inspection, ensures continuity and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
